Thanks to MomCentral I was able to see the new movie "Life As We Know It" before it hits theater's on Friday October 8th. This movie staring "Katherine Heigl" and "Josh Duhamel "is the prefect Romantic Comedy. I laughed and cried the whole movie. I don't want to give to much away ,but the movie is about a couple who leaves there one year old daughter "Sophie" to there two best friends after dieing in a car accident. The Best Friends being "Katherine Heigl" and "Josh Duhamel" who I might add do not get along at first. The pair haven't a clue when it comes to parenting ,but get through it together. This is a movie for all to see, even the men will like it I know this because I took mine with me and he really enjoyed it. This movie made me think allot about what I would do in this case. Who would I leave my kids too? I recommend you go and see this movie it will keep you entertained from start to finish I promise you won't be disappointed. Fisher Price Rock N Play Sleeper Review

Thanks to Momselect I was able to try the Fisher Price Rock N Play Sleeper. This has truly been a tremendous help in our household. I would recommend this product to parents of newborns and infants. I have a four month old and a one month old. I know that is physically not possible but the one month old is my niece. I live in a town home so space is limited the sleeper has been a real help. I alternate the two babies' from the bouncer to the Rock N Play. My one month old Vanessa likes to take her afternoon naps in the Sleeper and my four month old Madalyn just likes to watch mom do the dishes. I can't tell you enough how helpful the Rock N Play has been to me. It is very light weight and can be folded and put out of the way in a matter of minutes. It's portability makes it easy to bring along to grandmas so my girls can have some where to sleep peacefully. The colors are very neutral perfect for both girls and boys. The height of the Sleeper is just in arms reach and believe me that comes in handy when you have two hungry baby's and only one set of arms. Another thing about the Rock N Play is that it is affordable for those who don't want to dish out hundreds of dollars for a bassinet. It works just as good if not better. You don't have to worry about your little one choking because the sleeper is at just the right angle for your sleeping baby. My shower went well I was happy with the turn out and the gifts. I think everyone had a great time. The food was so good just enough. We served chicken salad specially prepared by my Honey one of his many talents. We also had fruit and sherbet punch that turned out so good. I guess I hadn't realized how big my belly really was until I looked at the pics. This weekend we will be setting up for baby Maddie's arrival. I'm counting down the day till I get to see my baby girl.

I'm so happy it's Friday I have a big weekend ahead of me. I have Birthday party's and Baby showers to attend. I also need to get some much needed laundry done. You ladies know how it is I have big plans for this weekend. I'm sure in the end I will only get half done. I feel like I'm running out of time our little girl will be here soon and I haven't even purchased a crib. Maybe after my Baby shower on Sunday I will be motivated to go out and buy it. It's been so long since we've had a little in the house. My daughter is already going to be eight. Well we will see how everything goes. Have a great weekend!

Cover Girl Outlast Lip Stain

I recently was able to try the new cover girl Outlast Lip stain and I have to say it's a keeper. It leaves my lips looking great all day. Since I have gotten older I've noticed my lips are not as colorful as before and this product changes that. It's like a magic marker that comes in all colors. I apply in the morning and add a little clear gloss and I have nice looking lips for most of the day. I will usually re-apply late in the afternoon. There is no bad after taste and goes on so smooth and easy. Did I mention it smells great. This will be a keeper for me for sure. I would like to thank bzzagent for allowing me to try this product.

Final Shower Touches!

So all of my ribbons are done for the Baby shower and I can breath a sigh of relief. The menu is finalized and the games and prizes are taken care of. My mother and best friend have taken care of all the hard stuff. I just feel that I could have done more. Hopefully everything will go smoothly the day of. My daughter is so excited about this shower she even picked out her own special pin to wear on her dress. She has been so much help these last months and I know she will be an even bigger help when the baby is here.

Today my daughter Aracelie is back at school. This year she is a second grader. No more sleeping in that extra thirty minutes. She did well this morning but I'm sure when the new clothes run out I will be dragging her out of bed in the morning's. This means I will have to make sure I'm stalked up on cereal,oatmeal, frozen waffles, and all that other on the go breakfast stuff. She is a very picky eater when it comes to her breakfast and she may not like what they are serving at school. I take comfort in knowing she had a decent breakfast. I have taken a picture of my child every first day of school since she was in Pre-school. She is growing up so fast.

I have two daughters Aracelie who is turning eight in October and my step daughter Hazel who just turned thirteen this past April. We were recently given the opportunity to makeover there bedroom. The girls share a room two weeks out of the month and were so excited when I gave them the news. Baby Shower Countdown!

My mother and best friend are throwing me a baby shower August 30th and there is still so much to do. I have been told that they would take care of everything ,but I want to help. I still have to buy prizes and finish up making the shower pins. I'm not sure about the menu. It will be a brunch type shower so nothing to heavy. I was thinking of having champagne for those who enjoy a mimosa's in the late morning. I'm just so excited about this shower. It has been seven years since my last baby shower. I just hope I can fit in my dress. I have been told it looks as if I swallowed a basketball....lol.

Sad OB news

I just received a call from my OB that he will no longer be able to deliver my baby. Unfortunately he is having to take early retirement. Apparently he had been suffering short term memory loss over the past couple of weeks and a co-worker advised him to see a neurologist and after undergoing a scan of the brain he was told he had suffered a small stroke. The Neurologist informed him that he was one of the lucky sixty percent of people who don't die from this type of stroke the other forty percent will usually die. Although I'm upset that Dr. Moore will not be able to delivery my baby, I'm happy he is okay. Now I'm eight months pregnant without an OB.

If you enjoy 80's rock with bands such as Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and more. Then this is a must have CD. My family and I had a blast with this soundtrack it pays tribute to all the 80's hits. I found it to be fun and up beat I would love to see the Broadway show. My daughter is a huge fan of all things musical and couldn't get enough of this CD. Little does she know these songs are from the 80's. I'm so happy that she can now enjoy them as much as I did.

I had the chance to try this product and I love it. I always jump at the opportunity to try new skin care products so when She Speaks asked me to review this product I was more than happy to help. My skin is usually very dry in the summer and it doesn’t help that I’m six months pregnant with raging hormones. I attended the Houston Moms mixer on Saturday the 29th and I'm reporting to say I had a blast. I only wish I had used my camera. I was having to much fun and forgot to take pictures. I had a one minute manicure a wonderful massage and I had my eyebrows and upper lip threaded for the first time ever. I was able to meet with so many Houston moms I cant wait till next years mixer. I had my Dr Appointment on Monday and found out I'm having a little girl. I'm so excited another girl. I have been thinking of names and none which her father likes. I would love some suggestions.
