Sad OB news

I just received a call from my OB that he will no longer be able to deliver my baby. Unfortunately he is having to take early retirement. Apparently he had been suffering short term memory loss over the past couple of weeks and a co-worker advised him to see a neurologist and after undergoing a scan of the brain he was told he had suffered a small stroke. The Neurologist informed him that he was one of the lucky sixty percent of people who don't die from this type of stroke the other forty percent will usually die. Although I'm upset that Dr. Moore will not be able to delivery my baby, I'm happy he is okay. Now I'm eight months pregnant without an OB.
